The first makeup you bought

Do you remember the first product you bought that made you fall in love with makeup? I absolutely do, like specifically do.

I was around 13, so it must have been around 1981. I went to the mall after school with my friend. We went to Lord and Taylor and we bought Polo Ralph Lauren makeup, which doesn't exist anymore. I don't know when it went away. But in 1981, we thought it was the height of chic. It came in this adorable little case.

It was a lip gloss in this little case that flipped open. And the case was covered in leather and it had a little polo player embossed on the top of it.

And like a name of the lip gloss was honey. It was the perfect like nude beige lip loss that I genuinely wish still existed today. So Ralph Lauren, if you're listening, please bring back the honey lip gloss.
