Grand Canyon Under Eyes
I don’t want to toot my own horn or anything, but I am a trend setter. Back when “You Tube Makeup” was at it’s peak (you know the look – super sculptural brows, cut crease eyeshadow, full coverage everything) I was out there shouting about how anyone who is noticing age related changes in their skin should be using the VERY LEAST amount of concealer possible, and with a super soft brush that won’t tug on the delicate skin under their eyes.
In fact, I’ve been a fan of ultra soft concealer brushes since I launched my line lo’ those many years ago … and people didn’t really get it. Dense brushes feel good, and fingertip application seems easy, but both can tug on the delicate skin under your eyes when you’re blending, which means that as soon as you lift your brush or finger off of your face, your skin is going to bounce back to where it naturally wants to rest. And if you’ve applied heavy concealer, it’ll move that product right into your creases, like a flash flood in the Grand Canyon. And I seriously doubt that #GrandCanyonUnderEyes is ever going to be on trend.

So here’s a video of me using the TEENSY TINYEST amount of a serum concealer from Maxine’s Revenge and my very soft Angled-Multi-Blender Brush to blend. You’ll notice that no matter where I move the brush, the bristles bend and flex but my skin stays still. It’s just floating on the product and sheering it out instead of aggressively pulling at it.
I don’t play favorites with my brushes, but ok yes I do. This is the one I ALWAYS reach for when I’m applying concealer.
